Motorship Giglio Island: the flagship of the fleet

The M/V Isola del Giglio is not only the largest ship in our fleet, it is the symbol of safe and constant connection with the island. Originally launched in Norway and designed for the North Seas, this ship provides excellent seaworthiness even in complex weather conditions. In 2020 she underwent a major refit that equipped her with modern instrumentation and new energy-efficient engines, reducing her environmental impact.

Features and comfort on-board

This Ro-Pax ship operates regularly on the Porto Santo Stefano - Giglio Island line and is designed to provide you with a comfortable ride, whether you are on foot or with your vehicle in tow.

Vehicle transport: thanks to its large garage, the ship can accommodate up to 40 vehicles. It is an ideal choice for those reaching Giglio by car, motorcycle or camper van.
Comfort on board: the ship has a large air-conditioned indoor lounge on the first deck with bar service for breakfasts, snacks and aperitifs.
Outdoor spaces: if you love the sea, you can enjoy the crossing from the two outside decks (on the first and second levels), ideal for admiring the view on fine days.

Accessibility and services: There are toilets and equipment on board to assist passengers with reduced mobility (PRM). Your pets are also welcome (with a muzzle or pet carrier).
