From 1 June to 8 September 2025 Maregiglio organises daily tours that will take you to discover the crystal-clear waters and fascinating seabed of Giglio Island. The boat tour to Giglio Island always departs from Porto Santo Stefano (here are directions on where to park your car).
From here, by going to the embarkation point (at Piazzale Candi 8 - Ferry Terminal), you will be able to board our regular ferry, which will take you to your destination in about 1 hour, following the Porto Santo Stefano - Giglio Porto route. Discover the coastal beauty of Giglio Island
Giglio Island is one of the gems of the Tuscan Archipelago. With its 21 sq km, the island ranks as the second largest in the archipelago, preceded only by Elba Island. It boasts a territory that is 90% unspoiled, surrounded by lush Mediterranean scrub that enhances its colors and intoxicating scents.
Our daily boat excursion to Giglio Island is specially designed for those who wish to explore and discover the island’s most hidden beaches and coves, embarking on an exciting trip. During the excursion, you will have the opportunity to dive and snorkel under the guidance of an experienced instructor and admire breathtaking views of enchanting beaches, secluded coves, and the bay of Giglio Campese aboard a comfortable boat.

10:00 a.m. - collection point Piazzale Candi - Ferry Terminal, Porto Santo Stefano
10:30 a.m. - departure with Maregiglio Ferry
11:30 a.m. - Giglio Porto arrival, free stopover.
2:00 p.m. – meeting with Francesco, expert snorkeling instructor at Molo di Ponente (green dock)
2:30 p.m. – start of the island boat tour (4 hours including swimming stops, snorkeling equipment, and snorkeling excursion)
6:30 p.m. - arrival at Giglio Porto and free time on the island
7:00 p.m. – departure from Giglio Island by Maregiglio ferry

PLEASE NOTE:
In both programs, we recommend arriving at the meeting point in Piazzale Candi at least 15 minutes before the departure time for boarding procedures. We reserve the right to cancel the excursion due to adverse weather and sea conditions or force majeure. In such cases, the excursion will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation within 48h before the departure date.If you cancel within this period, you will be entitled to a full refund of your ticket. After this period has passed, no refunds will be available. To request a refund for an online purchase, send an email to: crociere@maregiglio.it. Refunds will be made to the same credit card used for the purchase, less sales commissions. We reserve the right to cancel the excursion due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In such an eventuality, we will fully refund the cost of the ticket net of sales commissions. The itinerary may be changed at the sole discretion and decision of the captain.
